Y’all it is h-o-t, HOT in Florida. Most days the high is in the 90’s and the mornings are already well into the 80’s before the sun rises. Now I’m not complaining, but I do have to change up my wardrobe. Maxi dresses are ok for very short amounts of time outside. Pants are out. Which means all the floral shorts in the world and tank tops get to replace them all. I originally bought these shorts to wear to the Flower & Garden festival this year. Because last years festival got cut short, I went all out planning outfits to wear this year. But y’all know me, I don’t like wearing something once and then getting rid of it. So I paired these floral shorts with another purchase I made this year from Target.

Unlike a pink pair of these shorts, the floral shorts have pockets! They are hidden in the pleat of the short which is really genius. While I do love a good purse, it’s still nice to have pockets. Especially with how hot it is, a purse strap is not something I want on my shoulder all the time. These shorts are the famous J.Crew tie waist shorts featuring a Liberty print fabric. I really love Liberty prints because they’re always fun and vibrant. No matter the season, they have a floral print that fits so perfectly. You wouldn’t think that floral would work in the fall but they do.
