Green is my favorite color. And before anyone ask, it’s not because it used to be my last name. It became my favorite color when I fell in love with Tinker Bell, and her green dress. Ever since the age of 6, green has been my self declared favorite color. And this years emergence of green floral has just solidified that love. Especially since I fell in love with the color because of a dress.

Green in fashion is always my favorite…when done right. (There’s been some questionable times for green fashion). For instance, Lilly Pulitzer does a fabulous job at using green. While not as bright typically, Reformation is another brand that does green right. In fact, they released a bright green floral earlier this season and I’m obsessed. (It’s even on sale right now).
Bright Green Floral for Summer
Bright green floral is definitely the way to go while we continue to enjoy summer. I purchased a green floral top from Abercrombie right as it went out of stock. Luckily, they were able to send it to me in the end. Like I said, I’m obsessed. The top is almost an exact print of the Reformation one. Though a different style. Lilly Pulitzer also features bright green florals all year round. Which is perfect for this Florida girl.
Florals for Fall
Florals in fall tend to look a little different than the ones in summer. While summer florals feature a floral on a white background, fall florals are the opposite. A dark green background with a ditsy print is one of my favorite fall patterns. While the actually floral is not green, green plays a major roll in the print. Reformation is a brand to watch for these fall florals getting ready to bloom!
