Yesterday I attended one of the most unique weddings I’ve ever been too. I won’t go into too much detail because the bride wants to “control the press”, and she totally should, she created a true Pinterest masterpiece! It was a beautiful day for a wedding and I was so excited to go dress shopping for it. There’s just something special about shopping for a wedding guest dress, to me, it just might be like shopping for the wedding dress.
When I was shopping for a dress I tried to keep a few things in mind. The ceremony took place outside, in Florida, so I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t sweat too much in it. I also really wanted a dress that I thought reflected the brides personality. Something happy, bubbly, sparkly, and just fun. When I saw this dress, I felt like it just fit so much about her, and got it. The color was fun, it had a little sparkle, and seemed so timeless, just like her. It probably seems a little strange that a guest would put in this kind of effort when looking for a dress, but I thought of it as a way to honor the bride.
