Long Sleeve Fall Dress for Up North

As promised, I do have fall content not meant for Florida. I’ve decided to rent the majority of my fall wardrobe this year with either Rent the Runway or Nuuly. Which has given me the opportunity to shoot more fall outfits not specifically just for Florida. I haven’t been able to justify purchases like a long sleeve fall dress before in the past because of the weather. But since I am renting, I decided to give it a try this year! In all honesty, I thought the long sleeves were going to make me sweat. Truth be told though, it didn’t kill me when shooting this look. Maybe it was because a storm was rolling in and there was a ton of wind (as evident from my hair). Now I know that I could invest in a long sleeve dress for fall & winter and actually wear it in Florida.

Reformation Sizing

This dress was rented from Rent the Runway. I typically wear a size 0 or XS but would definitely recommend sizing up in Reformation. While the 0 worked, I would have felt more comfortable in a size 2. I’ve heard this happening frequently when it comes to Reformation. People I think tend to order their normal size but often times need to size up. Which is frustrating but, I don’t think we’ll be fixing women’s sizing anytime soon. (Most unfortunate, how would we even go about doing that?) I recently bought a Reformation dress for my bachelorette party and was sure to size up. I used the models measurements more as a guide than the actual sizing chart. Which you might find helpful as well.
