Happy June 1st everyone! Fun (or not so fun) story about this Mickey Mouse dress from Cakeworthy. It’s not the one I ordered. Don’t get me wrong at all, I LOVE this dress. It’s freaking adorable. But, I ordered the Blue Minnie Mouse version of the dress a couple months back and ended up with this. Now I’m not trying to give Cakeworthy a bad review, because the clothes they design is seriously so cute. I just feel like I need to give you some back story on this GIVEAWAY before I let you know how to enter and what you can win.
Disney Cakeworthy Review
Like I said previously, I had ordered the blue Minnie Mouse dress when I bought a few items from Cakeworthy (including the Mickey overall dress and Mickey peace sign bag). I was so excited when my package arrived and I decided I’d try my first unboxing video (ooo ahhh). As you can imagine, I was very confused unboxing everything to find, a red dress. I checked my email and the packing slip to confirm that I did, in fact, order the blue Minnie Mouse dress. So I emailed Cakeworthy. They quickly responded and said they would send me the correct dress free of charge. Great! I was excited to now have BOTH versions of the dress. A package from Cakeworthy arrived shortly after. Again, excitement was building as I opened the package!
Another. Red. Dress.
I checked my email and the packing slip again, they both said blue. I’d like to think I’m an understanding person. Maybe someone is colorblind or it was an off day when packaging. So I emailed them again letting them know the situation. I’m not sure if this email got lost but, it took about a month for them to respond again. They were very nice and let me know that the amount for the dress would be refunded and to keep the dresses.
Ultimately I didn’t receive the dress I ordered and I respect their response and I love their designs. However, I can’t say how soon I’ll be purchasing directly from their site. For now I’ll stick with other retailers that sell their products (i.e.: ShopDisney.com). Sadly for me, the shopDisney store doesn’t sell the blue Minnie Mouse version anymore. Luckily for all of you, I have an extra Red Mickey Mouse dress from Cakeworthy in a size small! Which leads us to my giveaway!
