In my very limited, mostly when I feel like it, scope for combating fast fashion, I shop secondhand. While I enjoy in person thrifting from time to time, my main source to shop secondhand from is Poshmark and Mercari. Now I’ve talked about Poshmark before and it’s still one of my favorite ways to shop my favorite brands secondhand. Over the years, the brands that I’ve come to love and invest in, either firsthand or secondhand, have evolved. Once just shopping for Lilly Pulitzer secondhand has turned into so much more. So here are my favorite brands to shop on Poshmark and Mercari and why.

Brands to Shop Secondhand
Like I said, the brands I’ve shopped for has evolved over the years. Here’s what I shop on Mercari and Poshmark from most recent brand purchases to my tried and true for years.
Gal Meets Glam
When Julia Berolzheimer was still creating clothing for the Gal Meets Glam line, I was always obsessed. But I couldn’t afford the high price tags at that time. Looking back, I almost wish I had splurged a bit more on those “holy grail” items. But there’s really no need when I can shop this line at resale prices, that are often half the cost, or less.
Why I love it: Gal Meets Glam styles are classic in every sense of the word. They will be timeless for year’s to come because of that elegance and perfect attention to detail including fit, length, and style.
Lilly Pulitzer
Valli Shift Dress // Pink Colony Alexa Shift Dress
Ever since my family moved back to Florida I’ve fallen for Lilly Pulitzer. While shopping the Sunshine Sale (previously the After Party Sale) is a great way to save on recent seasons styles, shopping on Poshmark and Mercari gives you access to some vintage pieces that are sure to shine.
Kate Spade
Fiorella Colorblock Dress // Polka Dot Dress
Where would I be today without my love for Kate Spade? Certainly not blogging, that’s for sure. I love that these styles are timeless but still trendy by playing with the novelty factor. Whether it’s a dress or a bag, shopping secondhand has a lot to offer.
