I’ve been obsessed with hats this year. I mean, I already loved hats but this year they just hit different. Ya, know. 😉 Whatever the reason, I’m enjoying them so much more this year. When fall rolls around I always see fedoras and wide brimmed felt hats come out. Now because I live in Florida I typically don’t think about wearing them myself, but I love the look of them. I just haven’t invested in it because I think, just like sweaters, I wouldn’t get that much wear out of it.

This fall I’ve been substituting felt hats with a boat hat I bought this year. So far I think it’s been doing a great job of adding some hat flair to my fall looks. However, it takes a careful eye to ensure the outfit looks like fall and not summer. If a dress is too bright or short, it ends up looking like I just came from the beach. Which is not what I think of when I think of fall. I want it to seem like I just walked out of a forest, not the ocean. It’s been fun to test my skills like this. And so far I feel like I’ve been pretty successful in the fall outfits I put together with my boat hat. But sometimes I just want some felt hats to hang on my wall with my sunhats. So maybe I’ll invest in a felt hat this year. Which means I of course had to round up my favorites to share with you.

In general, I feel like most of these hats are structured in the same way. But they all have their own special flair to them that I love. Whether it be an accent, a wider brim, or the perfect fall color. These felt hats are just perfect for fall.
