Here I am, attending another winter wedding as a guest. Winter weddings are really not my thing, even in Florida. However, weddings are totally my thing. While it can be overwhelming to go to a lot of weddings back to back, looking back on them is always fun. Especially when you get to wear a new fancy dress for the occasion. Luckily, the only winter weddings I’ve been to have been in Florida. So there’s no snow and you can get away with wearing just a light overcoat. But today I wanted to share the latest dress I wore as a winter wedding guest & some other dresses that would…

Wedding Rings for the Traditional Bride
My wedding band has finally come in, so now is the perfect time to share my wedding rings. Something I’ve noticed while shopping for a wedding band is that, a lot of traditional aspects are starting to fade away. Particularly when it comes to the metal color. To me, yellow gold is the traditional color for wedding rings. But even Michael noticed that there’s hardly any yellow gold sold in stores. In fact, he told me he had to special order my engagement ring because it wasn’t in yellow gold. When we went back to pick out my wedding band we had to do the same thing. It seems nowadays,…

Traditional Wedding Earrings
There’s many aspects of my wedding that I’d consider non-traditional. At the same time, I’d still consider myself a traditional bride. I suppose this fits as I’ve never been one that is super trendy. Though I indulge in trends from time to time, I always come back to my fashion roots. This goes for everyday fashion as well as bridal fashion. And it’s no different when it comes to bridal accessories. In fact, I’d say the most traditional aspect of my wedding will be how I accessorize. Particularly with my rings and earrings. Wedding Blue and More Colors for the Bride
I’ve recently had some debates with my girlfriends on what the bride to be can wear. Nothing detrimental to any of my relationships but it got me thinking about all the do’s and don’ts that society has about a Bride during her engagement season, and even wedding day. It’s no doubt that society has told brides that they can only wear pure white on their wedding day. (And if you don’t wear white, what are you insinuating?) While this societal view has started to die-off a little, it is still there. Disclosure: Some of the links in this post are affiliate links, meaning at no additional cost to you I…

Ruffle Dress Perfect for Wedding Guest
One of my favorite Rent the Runway items so far has been this ruffle dress by Prabal Gurung. It is no doubt one of the most perfect dresses I have ever seen for a wedding guest dress. While I didn’t actually get to wear it to a wedding (come on, all these weddings I’ve attended and none this year in the summer?)I loved every second I had it on for. The quality is impeccable and feels amazing on your skin. It fit like a glove and don’t even get me started on the print! It is so fabulous. Wedding Inspiration & Mood Boards
I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to write this post! I have had a wedding board since I first signed up for Pinterest back in high school. The wedding inspiration I’ve pinned has certainly changed over the years. From red and gold to themed weddings, my Pinterest board has seen it all. But I think it’s always been rooted in wanting something classic. While red, gold, and black are still classic, they are a bit more gothic than my taste are currently. My wedding inspiration has changed from gothic style to a more romantic style. I’d still consider both classic and timeless, one is just…

One & Only Bridal Wedding Dress Experience
Last month I went wedding dress shopping at One & Only Bridal Boutique in downtown Orlando. To spoil things right away, I did say YES to my One & Only dress! But we all know I can’t post it. Rest assured, I would imagine I will share pictures from my wedding day eventually so you’ll get to see the dress. I wanted to do walk through my appointment at One & Only bridal. Even with all the Say Yes to the Dress that I’ve watched, I found myself asking my consultant a ton of questions. On top of that, I wanted to share how wonderful my experience was at One…

Weddings I’ve Attended & Inspiration I’ve Pulled
If you’ve been following along with you’ll know I’ve been to a handful of weddings the past few years. If I’m keeping track correctly (I’m probably not) I’ve gone to 8 weddings since the end of 2018. I guess when you say it, that doesn’t sound like that many, but trust me, it’s taken a toll. Don’t get me wrong, I’m totally happy for all of them! But weddings are so draining. The weddings in 2019 especially drained me. Every month that spring had a wedding I attended. Even though they are draining (especially when traveling) they’ve all served as little inspirations for this moment! Planning my own wedding. (God…

Wedding Venues in Orlando & Central Florida
I’m going to be honest, I don’t even know where to start with this post. There is just so much to unpack and I certainly don’t want to offend anyone or any of the wedding venues that we saw. They were all stunning and I know beautiful weddings have been had and will be had at all of them. I’m no wedding venue expert, especially as I only saw 4 of them. As such, I won’t be going too in depth on each venue, rather just share a few things that Michael and I did or didn’t like about each place. Elegant Wedding Venues in Orlando First of all, none…

Lake Nona Country Club Wedding
This weekend I went to a wedding at the Lake Nona Country Club as a plus 1. Can you believe I attended another wedding? If you can’t, let me refer you back to the weddings in October, March, and April that I attended. The Lake Nona Country Club is very much what I would say is, my taste. It’s modern and elegant, has a grand staircase, and overlooks a lake. However, I now realize that an outdoor wedding in May in Florida is not ideal at all. The only fitting thing about the millions of lovebugs that I killed was their name and a glimmer of sweat is not a…
