As my weekends become more and more consumed by weddings, I’ve come to the conclusion that I just don’t have enough spring dresses to go around. (This is clearly a lie I tell myself so I can go shopping). So, I’m bringing you the spring version of my fall guest wedding dresses. (As if you couldn’t guess that already with the title “Spring Guest Wedding Dress”).I’m still in love with pastels and bold florals and patterns, but I’ve also fallen in love with Lilly dresses for Spring weddings. What could be more perfect for a spring wedding than high class, expensive, bright, Lilly Pulitzer, right? Don’t worry, I am not…

Wedding Guest Essentials
It seems that weddings are never ending for me this past year or so. My favorite thing about being a wedding guest is shopping for new dresses (though this is not financially the best plan, I just can’t resist). What I haven’t been very good at is preparing for well, everything else. Last minute flights, last minute hotels, and then not bringing the “wedding guest essentials” to the ceremony and reception. So in order to avoid my mistakes, I’m sharing my wedding guest essentials that you won’t want to forget. Wedding Guest Essentials Tissues This one is kind of a no brainer, and yet, I never bring them. I never…

Fall Wedding
This past weekend I finally got to attend the fall wedding that I was dress shopping for a few weeks back. The wedding was for a sorority sister and she is just the cutest, most precious person I have met on the planet. Long story short, she married her high school sweetheart and they are just so perfect for each other! In true southwest Virginia in the fall style, it took place at Doe Creek Farms and had the cutest pumpkin and twinkle light decor. It could not have been more fitting for this beautiful bride. This was the first wedding I have attended in a very long time (probably almost 10…

Wedding Guest Fall Dresses
I’m attending a wedding later this month up in Virginia and have been struggling to dress shop for it. Obviously, you don’t want to wear white like the bride but then it’s also fall so typical pastels and summer colors don’t really fit either. Also, because it’s in Virginia, it’ll be a bit on the chilly side. The good news is, I’ve bought 3 potential options for the wedding. Since I had such a hard time coming up with anything to begin with I thought I would share my tips for wedding guest fall dress shopping. Trends I’m Loving for Fall Guest Wedding Dresses Fall Colors: Navy, Crimson, and Mauve…

DIY Disney Halloween Tennis Dress
For years I’ve been on the search for the perfect Halloween outfit for Disney World. Something that is both spooky, but also comfortable in the 90+ degree weather that Florida still experiences in fall. There’s no shortage of Disney Halloween clothes out there. Mickey ghost jeans and pumpkin Mickey sweaters are readily available this time of year. But as a Floridian, there’s no way I can comfortably wear these. Not unless I’m looking to give myself a heat stroke. So this year, I set out to make what I’ve always been looking for, a Disney Halloween tennis dress. Since I’ve purchased my first tennis dress, I’ve raved about how great…

Pajamas for the Bride to Be
It’s been over 2 years since my wedding but I’m still obsessed with all things bridal. I still gravitate towards white and blues in my everyday wardrobe, including pajamas. In fact, the pajamas I bought as a bride to be are still some of my favorite. It’s just one of those things that make me smile. So if you’re a bride to be also obsessed with white, blues and bows, ,check out some of my picks below. Holiday Cards from Basic Invite
Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Basic Invite. All tips and opinions are my own. Results may vary. The holiday season has been a real whirlwind this year. I thought we would have plenty of time for festive movies, cookies, and gift shopping. But as it turns out, I am scrambling to get everything in order before Santa makes his way around the world bringing Christmas joy to all. After Halloween I took my time putting away all my jack-o-lanterns and skeletons. Apparently I should have swapped to Christmas the next day, because it’s felt like there’s not been enough time with the Christmas decor up! If you’re scrambling like…

One Year Anniversary
This post is sponsored by AW Bridal. All opinions are my own. Results may vary. Our one year wedding anniversary has officially come and gone. In a blink of an eye and eternity all at once, we’ve been married for a whole year! (Plus, some change). It feels like the world pressures couples into planning big anniversary plans. More gifts, a big night out, and seemingly no time alone. We didn’t make elaborate plans to celebrate our one year anniversary. Choosing to have a night more intimate and spend quality time with each other. Our lives have always been “go, go, go”, even before we got married. So it was…

Jewel Tones for Fall
While the official start of fall isn’t until later in September, fall mode starts now. Even in Florida, where it’s endless summer, you can feel the air buzzing with fall anticipation. Will we reach fall temperatures while it’s still fall in Florida? Only time will tell. But for now, I’m using jewel tones to help transition me from summer to fall. Disclosure: Some of the links in this post are affiliate links, meaning at no additional cost to you I may make a commission if you click through and purchase. Yellow Jewel Tones Since the likelihood of me actually getting to wear fall sweaters and other cozy fashion is slim,…

Floral Cut Out Dress from Wayf
I bought this floral cut out dress over a year ago and didn’t think I’d still be able to share it with product links. Though I’m not 100% wrong I am about 50% wrong. This cut out dress from Wayf is still on the market, just not in this floral print. Last year when I found this dress it was available in this ditsy multi color floral and all white. This year I’ve seen this cut out dress in 3 colors and prints: all white, all black, and a blue floral. As you might be able to guess, the floral is, once again, my favorite. What I really love about…
