As February comes to a close, it’s time to start repurposing the pink and red in your closet for spring and summer. I bought this pink and red contrast cardigan after renting it from Nuuly this month and now I’m left thinking, can I only wear it in February? While I obviously love to plan Valentine’s Day outfits with hearts and all things pink, this cardigan can easily be worn in spring as well. It’s time to put away the statement heart earrings, and switch them out with something a little more spring.

Pink and Red Cardigan
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love renting from Nuuly to find out if I want to invest in pieces for my closet. I loved this pink and red cardigan from Nuuly so much that I went on the hunt to add it to my closet permanently. Luckily Levi’s was having a sale and this cardigan was included in it. So I ended up purchasing it for over 50% off. (It’s also available in a white and blue contrast trim that would be amazing for spring as well!) I rented it and got to wear it all dolled up for a Valentine’s Day before I ordered it from Levi’s. These beaded heart statement earrings are some of my favorites to wear during a February, and they matched the shade of red in the cardigan perfectly. Now it’s on to planning for spring and how I’ll wear it to transition from winter.
Short Sleeve Cardigans for Spring
One thing that I love for transitioning for winter to spring is short sleeve knits. Whether it’s a short sleeve cardigan or sweater, they have a spring feel with the benefits for winter. I tend to look for short sleeve knits in bright colors, like pink, yellow, and blue, when choosing them for spring. Which makes this Levi’s cardigan the perfect option for winter to spring!
