5 Ways to Wear a Red Skirt this Valentine’s Day

There are a handful of red skirts currently hanging in my closet. While they definitely get worn throughout the rest of the year their time to shine is during the Valentine’s season! Not every combination of skirt & top can make it into a Valentine’s outfit line up though. This is why I’m sharing 5 ways to wear a red skirt that will scream Valentine’s day.

5 Ways to Wear a Red Skirt

Red Midi Skirt

My go to skirt when I want to be fancy is this red midi skirt that I scored on Amazon. I seriously think every girl should own at least one midi skirt and red is there perfect color to start with. This skirt can so easily be paired with literally anything. I almost shared 5 ways to wear a red skirt just with this midi alone!

Red Sequin Skirt

There’s no such thing as too much sparkle. Truth be told this sequin skirt is actually a size XL from the girls section in Target. It’s a tad big if I’m being completely honest, but the clearance price was just too good to pass up. This skirt can easily be dressed up with a nice blouse or dressed down with a t-shirt or hoodie. Whatever your Valentine’s Day style this skirt works with it all.

Red Mini Skirt

This mini skirt has been in my closet for well over 5 years (probably hitting close to 10 years soon). No matter how short I may think it gets, it is an item I can’t seem to part with. I love that it is a thicker material so I can wear it in winter. But it’s also great because it is short so I can wear it in spring and summer too. I’m throwing it back to my high school days with this skirt, striped top, and nude pumps. I wore this exact outfit in 12th grade and even made heart shoe clips to go with it. Pairing this skirt with a festive Valentine’s tee works just as well though and I have to say I’m kind of digging it.
