If there’s one thing I love it’s making a statement. Not the bad kind of statement like “oh my god, what is she wearing”. But he good kind of statement like “oh my god, she rocks that!” As we all know there’s a fine line between the two. What some people like, others may not. This statement gingham Blouse is definitely one of those pieces that can go either way. As long as you don’t let the haters get inside your head, all you’ll ever hear is praise.

I bought this Blouse back in spring from SheIn. So you could say I’ve had it for a while. I got it during the same shopping haul as the tie sleeve gingham top, and banana leaf bikini. Clearly blue gingham was something that I needed in my wardrobe. Yet all this time has passed and I haven’t worn it. I could say it’s the Florida weather, but I brought it on my Alaskan cruise and didn’t wear it either. Why? Because I let a hater get in my head. Haters can be anyone, even someone close to you. They may not hate you but maybe they hate something you wear. This is the exact time to shut them down. I’m the one wearing it after all, not them. It may have taken awhile but I finally have my mojo back. And let me tell you, I am loving this statement Gingham Blouse!
Brand Spotlight
I was ecstatic when I saw this statement Gingham Blouse on Shein because it was similar to the brand Elizabeth Wilson Designs. Their store is full of gingham, ruffles, bows, and so many statement pieces. I love them. The only downside to Elizabeth Wilson is the price. I sadly can not justify spending $90 on a top. So I opted for this much cheaper from version. That won’t stop me from ogling over all of Elizabeth Wilson Designs though. I can’t justify that money on a shirt but certainly on a dress. I can’t wait for their holiday collection to be released!
