Best Places to Go for Halloween in Orlando

It was the mash. It was the monster mash! Happy almost Halloween everyone! I am so excited for this spooky night to finally be here. Does anyone else wish there were like, 3 nights for trick-or-treating in October? I know I can’t be the only one. To make the most of pumpkin & spooky season, I spent this past weekend doing all the Halloween activities. I called it “spooky weekend”. To make this “spooky weekend” extraordinary, I looked up a few of the best places to go for Halloween in Orlando. Unfortunately, many of the activities I found you couldn’t actually enjoy on Halloween. There are two places that you can go tomorrow night however and I thought they were worth the thrilling share.

Halloween in Downtown Orlando: Cocktails & Screams

This one’s for adults only! Cocktails & Screams is a new bar opening in Downtown Orlando. It will be a year round Halloween themed bar. A spooky lovers dream, is it not?! They are not “officially” open yet but had themed nights the 13 days leading up to Halloween. I wanted to take a trip to Cocktails & Screams to kick off my spooky weekend, but decided that I needed R&R more. From what I’ve seen though, the decor is truly chilling and the drinks are themed perfectly.

If you plan on going tonight there is a cover charge for this spooky themed “Vampires Ball”. You can check out all their countdown party themes and events on their Facebook page here. Reviews claim that drinks are hard to get and take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to receive. If you decide to go here tomorrow night be sure to keep in mind that they are not officially open. This Halloween test run will help them become more efficient in the future. And let’s be honest, I wouldn’t be there for a drink anyway, it’s all about the spookies.

Halloween at Disney World

Who would have guessed this was going to be my second recommendation?! Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party always sells out quick, especially on Halloween night. But that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy some spooktacular fun before the party starts! Magic Kingdom will be open for guest throughout the day and offers Halloween treats throughout the park even before the party starts. Wanted to try that candy corn milkshake? Me too! Go get it and enjoy. You’ll also be able to purchase Halloween merchandise at this time as well. When Magic Kingdom is only open to party guest, be sure to hop on over to Disney Springs for even more special fall and Halloween treats!
