Summertime is my favorite time of year. I know a lot of people end up hating the hot and humid weather after a week or two but I personally love it. Who cares if I’m sweating my butt off, the sun is out and I’m happy. I do try to be practical with my summer outfits though. Usually I wear a lot of shorts, light dresses, and mini skirts to keep cool. Recently however, I’ve been trying to add more cotton and linen styles to my closet so that I can wear a wider variety of things. I’m talking jumpsuits and maxi dresses that I can wear in summer. Just because they’re long, doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be able to wear them. So today I wanted to not only show off my favorite summer maxi dresses in my closet, but also share a few affordable new ones too.

My Favorite Summer Maxi Dresses
My maxi dress collection basically exploded overnight last summer. I went from having a whopping 0 to 5 within a day. That is sadly not an exaggeration. Quite honestly I love all the maxi dresses I’ve come to acquire, which made it a bit hard to narrow down for this post. I’ve already shared one of my favorite in a recent blog post. I chose two of my other summer maxi dresses to share, as well as a handful of them that I currently have my eye on.
Shop Under $100
Alright so my main issue with maxi dresses is that they can get so expensive. It’s hard ones that I like for under $100, let alone under $50. Most of the time I’ve waited for them to go on sale or bought them secondhand. However, this year is proving to be a bit different. It’s actually a bit crazy how many dresses I have fallen in love with that are under $100! I didn’t want to keep all these finds to myself though, they have to be shared.
