I’ve been in the market for a good pair of jean shorts. My best pair to date (before today that is) has been a pair I picked up from GoodWill for less than $10. While those jean shorts have been great, and are still easy to throw on, I was looking for a pair that was a bit more “adult”. Mom shorts that don’t look like mom shorts. I had been eyeing a pair from Loft as soon as they hit their website. Then a few weeks later a local Loft store reached out about doing a try-on take over and I made sure these shorts were part of it. It was love at first try-on and the rest is history.

Affordable Jean Shorts from Loft
I had a lot of issues when looking for new jean shorts. First and foremost, I wanted to keep things covered. So many daisy dukes are out there and they’ve never really been my thing. (Maybe that was beat into me as a child. I don’t know, but I’ve tried a few pairs and it’s like wearing a thong. Straight up, uncomfortable). But just because you don’t have daisy dukes doesn’t mean you can’t show off your figure with a great pair of shorts. I’d tried a few other mom shorts leading up to these and while they looked cute on the model, I looked straight out of Mary Kate & Ashley. (You know when they were 5. I don’t want to look 5).

Then came these loft shorts and I was instantly sold. From the photos, to the try on, these are the perfect shorts for summer! I’ve even already spilled mustard on them to break them in. (That’s how that’s done right?) I can’t wait to continue to wear them all summer. From the beach, to Disney World, to just lounging around the house. Their a perfect fit and look great.
