This post is brought to you by: Summer. Summer is my all time favorite season, especially when wearing a sweet & sexy bikini. I finally went to the beach again this weekend and spent time recharging with the sun, sand, and water. Instead of laying out and just lounging, I decided to mix it up from my typical routine. I brought some pens, pencils, paper, and watercolor for the day. My creative juices have been on low lately and wanted to get some back. Of course, a cooler of fruit and drinks came along as well. It turned out to be a beautiful sunny day, even though back home it was storming. With weather like that, it was easy to put the pencil to the paper and run with it.
Lolli Sweet & Sexy Bikini and Swimwear
I’ve been trying to wear my 20,000 swimsuits more often and in a rotation. This Lolli swimsuit is one of my all time favorite bikini styles. I first saw the Lolli brand in Seventeen magazine back in like, 8th grade. Honestly, that edition is probably still laying around somewhere, or at the very least that spread. It was the cutest pink ruffle and bow bikini bottom. I think the bow adds a fun youthfulness and the cheeky cut makes it a little bit sexy. Seventeen claimed the cheeky cut and ruffles gave us booty-less people a little oomf. Honestly, a cheeky swimsuit is a great way to make it look like you have more booty. But in 8th grade, that did not fly with my mom.
Fast forward to my college years and I bought two Lolli cheeky bikini bottoms. This is just one of them. I wish I had the pink ruffled one (because I still swoon over it). Lolli does a great job of combing elements to make the perfect sweet & sexy bikini. The brand can be a little on the pricer side though, so I highly recommend shopping it when it’s on sale, or second hand. A cycle through the washer will sanitize any swimwear. I have bought about a dozen used bikinis and swimsuits and have never had an issue.

I wore my gingham pom pom dress as a cover-up to the beach. Notice how I wore it as a halter this time and tucked in the back straps. I’m seriously in love with how many ways you can wear this. Also, this giant heart purse is actually a cooler. I found it at TJ Maxx and just thought it was too outrageously cute to not buy. Little did I know it was a cooler until I got home and opened it up. Total mind blow!
This Lilly Pulitzer pop-up tent was a freebie about a year ago I believe. I didn’t get it as a freebie though, I also found it at TJ Maxx. You can purchase one from Pottery Barns Lilly collaboration in a different print, as well as dozens of other cute Lilly Pulitzer home items. This pop up made it so much more enjoyable because the sun wasn’t beating down on us directly. I wish I’d known about it earlier because it is a complete beach game changer.
Below I’ve linked Lolli brand bikini bottoms and other bow bikini alternatives with the great same sweet & sexy vibe. Etsy is a great place to get custom bow bikinis made.
I don’t expect that Ban.do heart cooler bag to stay in stock very long so here are the bags on Ebay and Poshmark. It was a must have for me, so I’m sure it is for someone else as well.
