One & Only Bridal Wedding Dress Experience

Last month I went wedding dress shopping at One & Only Bridal Boutique in downtown Orlando. To spoil things right away, I did say YES to my One & Only dress! But we all know I can’t post it. Rest assured, I would imagine I will share pictures from my wedding day eventually so you’ll get to see the dress. I wanted to do walk through my appointment at One & Only bridal. Even with all the Say Yes to the Dress that I’ve watched, I found myself asking my consultant a ton of questions. On top of that, I wanted to share how wonderful my experience was at One…

Wedding Venues in Orlando & Central Florida

I’m going to be honest, I don’t even know where to start with this post. There is just so much to unpack and I certainly don’t want to offend anyone or any of the wedding venues that we saw. They were all stunning and I know beautiful weddings have been had and will be had at all of them. I’m no wedding venue expert, especially as I only saw 4 of them. As such, I won’t be going too in depth on each venue, rather just share a few things that Michael and I did or didn’t like about each place. Elegant Wedding Venues in Orlando First of all, none…

Vanessa’s Coffee Shop – Best in Orlando

Y’all, what a trip Vanessa’s Coffee and I have had. Let’s throw it back to 2020. Me and my blogger friend, Kelly, were supposed to meet up at Vanessa’s Coffee Shop back in March. Right before Covid hit. For whatever reason (probably not meeting some code requirements) it had opened and closed very quickly. So as I pulled up to the shop right before Kelly, I was greeted with a “closed” sign. We ended up meeting at a nearby Panera for coffee instead. Fast forward to a few weeks ago and I’m tapping through Insta stories. All of a sudden my other local blogger pops up tagging Vanessa’s Coffee Shop.…

New Sweet Treats Donuts & Me in Avalon Park

For what feels like years, I’ve watched the old Starbucks in Avalon Park be transformed into a new doughnut shop called Donuts & Me. When I say it’s felt like years, I do mean that. It’s probably been at least a year since the branding on the outside of the store was added until it opened. With Covid-19 hitting just after it’s grand opening, I hadn’t been able to check it out…until now! I’m happy to report that it is finally re-open. Here’s all you need to know about Avalon Parks one and only craft doughnut shop. Donuts & Me Craft Doughnuts I was worried when I saw a few…

Galentines Day Brunch Locations in Orlando

One of my favorite things to do is grabbing brunch with my girls. It doesn’t matter the day or the occasion, I love doing it. It feels so classy and “adult like”. Even if I may not be “living my best life”, in that moment, at that brunch date, I feel like I am. This is why a Galentines Day brunch is so fitting. Instead of a galentine’s gift you can take your girls out to brunch. So today I’m sharing some of my favorite brunch locations in and around Orlando for you to check out with your girls not just in February, but anytime of the year. My Favorite…

    Lake Eola Christmas Tree Lighting

Are you in the holiday spirit yet?! Shopping is in full swing, decorations are strewn across the country (and probably your house) and it’s time to hunt down the perfect Christmas tree! One of my favorite things to see during the holiday season are all the Christmas tree lightings around Orlando. My favorite being the Lake Eola Christmas Tree Lighting. Lake Eola holds a special place in my heart, especially during Christmas time. A few years ago I met my boyfriend around Thanksgiving. I wasn’t looking to be with anyone. In fact, I continually denied his request to date. I refused to let myself even acknowledge that I had any…

Best Places to Go for Halloween in Orlando

It was the mash. It was the monster mash! Happy almost Halloween everyone! I am so excited for this spooky night to finally be here. Does anyone else wish there were like, 3 nights for trick-or-treating in October? I know I can’t be the only one. To make the most of pumpkin & spooky season, I spent this past weekend doing all the Halloween activities. I called it “spooky weekend”. To make this “spooky weekend” extraordinary, I looked up a few of the best places to go for Halloween in Orlando. Unfortunately, many of the activities I found you couldn’t actually enjoy on Halloween. There are two places that you…

UCF Cabana Experience at Spectrum Stadium

My weeks and weekends have been blurring together lately. I can’t keep straight what I did this weekend with what I did last weekend. Mickey’s Not so Scary, Marathon Training, birthday parties, oh my! However, I do know that most of my weekends are filled with some sort of college football. I had the chance to attend a UCF Knights game at Spectrum Stadium in a UCF Cabana! It was a football experience I won’t soon forget and was blessed to have.  UCF Cabana Food When you are in a UCF Cabana there is an array of food available to you back inside the stadium. The owners of the cabana…

Edward Steichen Opening Reception at the Mennello

This past Friday I had the joy of attending the reception for the duel opening of Edward Steichen at the Mennello Museum and Stephen Althouse at the Orlando Museum of Art. The opening reception was hosted by both museums for a one of a kind event. Both OMA and the Mennello are hopeful for many more combined receptions to come. For a mere $15, you attend this reception and enjoy food, drinks, music, and of course, beautiful art work. As a current member of the Mennello museum, I got in for free. Opening night of an art exhibit is an experience like no other. I’ve been on both ends before,…

    Touch A Truck Orlando

I am pleased to inform you about an awesome event happening in downtown Orlando next weekend. Touch a Truck is an event for all ages to enjoy. From Game trucks, to Firetrucks, they’ll have it all! There will be over 30 trucks to see. It’s put on by Trinity Lutheran Downtown. You might know Trinity for performing at the Lake Eola Christmas tree lighting every December. Here’s what I love about Touch A Truck: It’s in the very heart of downtown Orlando so no matter where you come from (North, South, East, or West) it is in a central location. I also love that this event has a “no horns”…
