TJ Maxx and I have been in a committed relationship for years. From my first Kate Spade find (a wallet that I still use today) to countless Lilly Pulitzer gems, I can always count on TJ Maxx to have gorgeous pieces at great prices. (PS: I know this sounds sale-y & pitch-y, but I promise this isn’t sponsored. No matter how much I wish it was). TJ Maxx is where I actually do most of my clothes shopping. Probably 50% of my Lilly Pulitzer is from TJ and at least another 25% of the rest of my wardrobe is as well. And when it has brands as good as, if not better than, department stores, why would it not be? Today I want to share my favorite designer brands that are available at TJ Maxx. And you can always count on them being well below retail price.

Designer Brands at TJ Maxx
I am always surprised by the amount of designer brands that TJ Maxx carries. Though I know I shouldn’t be because I’ve been shopping there for years and consistently see big name brands. My favorite brands in stores to shop is usually Lilly Pulitzer. Online though their inventory can be slightly different. For instance, I have yet to find Lilly Pulitzer online. But I have found many of the same brands and styles both in stores and online. It really all depends. Online my favorites brands to shop is usually Sail to Sable and last year it was Gal Meets Glam. While they are always adding to their inventory with major brands, here’s a list of top designers that you can find available online & in stores.
- Gucci
- Versace
- Dolce & Gabbana
- Valentino
- Louboutin
- Jimmy Choo
- Saint Laurent
- Burberry
- LOVE MOSCHINO
- LoveShackFancy (NEW! this year)
- St. John
- Tanya Taylor
- and more…
Tips to Filter & Find Designer Brands
I talk about this in depth in my shopping at TJ Maxx online post. However, I’ll touch on a few things in this post to help you find the best designer brands online at TJ MAxx. TJ Maxx is set up in a way that you can’t search for brands. This probably has something to do with the agreements they make with brands. But, they do tell you the brand when you look at an item. You can then use this to help you find similar items, or items from the same brand. Here’s my tips & tricks to finding designers online at TJ Maxx.
- Shop the Runway – The Runway section and tab of TJ Maxx is where they have all their big name designers. If you just want to browse designer brands to see what TJ Maxx offers, this is a great place to start.
- Sort from High to Low – Typically, designers have a high price tag, therefore sorting from high to low can help you quickly identify items from a high end designer. I’ve found this particularly helpful when looking for LoveShackFancy dresses as they are usually between the $100-$200 range.
- Use the “Frequently Bought Together” section on a product page & “See Similar Styles” button – At the bottom of an item page there will be a section labeled “Frequently Bought Together”. This section typically houses items from the same designer. Likewise, the “See Similar Styles” button located under an item on browsing pages will usually show you items from the same designer as well.
- Check New Arrivals Frequently – The thing about designers at great prices is, they get picked up pretty quickly. People who know how great of a deal TJ Maxx offers are like sharks on the new arrivals page. To make sure you snag the best designers at the best price, check the website frequently for new arrivals. (Pro Tip: Sort by Newest on the New Arrivals page!)
