So tomorrow is my boyfriends birthday. This really would have been the first year we could throw a birthday party at our place with friends, family, and fun theming. However, due to covid, that’s not really happening. But, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try some kind of virtual birthday party with fun themes and decorations. So while these food, decorations, and party ideas may not get shared in person with people, they’re still fun and make a birthday special.
Also disclaimer he won't be 25, that's a photo from a couple years ago.
Super Hero Virtual Birthday Party
This one is probably my favorite because no matter what side of the camera you are on you can participate in the theme. Whether you decide to have everyone wear their favorite super hero shirt, create hand-made props, or use a superhero Zoom background, everyone can join in on the fun. Oh and since it’s an adult virtual party, let’s not forget the fun drink concoctions we can all try and make together too.
Star Wars
Another super simple yet fun way to throw a virtual birthday party is to have a movie marathon. Actually I first had this idea for May the 4th. I (hopefully) plan on getting all my friends together to have a Star Wars movie marathon. It’ll be especially fun to do this because my boyfriend has the mini droids that you can watch the movies with too. Also, shout-out to Disney+ for having all the Star Wars movie released by May the 4th!
Boozy Virtual Party
This is probably what we’ll end up going with because we have a lot of booze and so do our friends. (Guilty). I also thought a fun way to class it up is for everyone to enjoy a cigar while having the virtual party. Not that everyone is in to cigars or think they’re classy but I certainly felt inspired after seeing these pictures below.
