If you didn’t know, I love a good Christmas sweater. Just add it to the list of obsessions that came about after I moved to Florida…real convenient. Last year I expressed my love for holiday & Christmas sweaters through a fun little round up post. This year however I’ve added a few sweaters to my collection and thought I’d just share the few that sit sadly in my closet most of the year.

Classic Fair Isle Christmas Sweater
This fair isle cardigan is from H&M way back in 2016. (Ok, it’s not that long ago now that I type it. But still). It is by far my favorite thing to throw on during the holiday season. Since it’s a cardigan I can style it with more than your typical Christmas sweater. The red fair isle print makes this sweater a Christmas classic every year. Unless something disastrous happens, I expect to keep this cardigan for many year (and Christmas-es) to come.
The Perfect Florida Sweater
Would I be a true Florida native if I didn’t have a Christmas sweater with a flamingo on it? I don’t think so. This sweater is on the verge of tacky thanks to the fun pom poms on the sleeve. Tacky or not, it is my favorite sweater to wear this time of year. I can only wear it during the Christmas season after all. Fair isle and geometric patterns I can get away with any other chilly winter day in Florida. But this baby is strictly holiday season only.
Over Sized Christmas Sweater
An over sized Christmas sweater is the epitome of the holiday season. Truth be told, most of my over sized sweaters are from the men’s section. I may have even “bought” a sweater for my boyfriend just so I could wear it. Only maybe though. Two of my over sized sweaters are men’s, but my favorite one is this one that I found at TJ Maxx this year! I could only find it in a size large when I went and was totally ok with that. Then I went back to TJ on another trip and found it in a small. Turns out the small was extremely cropped. Which doesn’t make sense to me for a sweater. (Like the point of a sweater is to stay warm, isn’t it?) Anyways, it is the softest thing in the world and I have a hard time putting it in the wash because I don’t want it to loose it’s coziness.
The Novelty Sweater
You’re a mean one…Mr. Grinch. I’m not usually a huge fan of these types of sweaters. Don’t get me wrong, I love the grinch and all the other holiday movies, I just don’t like their giant face on a sweater. That was until I got this sweater. Regardless of the Grinch on the front, this sweater is so lightweight and soft. Not ideal for some, but perfect for Florida. Thank you Nana for this perfect gift last year!

I probably won’t add too many more sweaters to my wardrobe. In fact, I should look into getting rid of a few. So let me vicariously live through you all with these adorable sweater options.
