White dresses are a summer staple. I can’t even begin to tell you how many white dresses that I have in my closet. Yet, when summer rolls around, I always want to buy more. This year that is especially true as I’m a new bride to be! If it wasn’t for the fact that I’m prone to spills, I’d be in a white dress every day from now until my wedding. (Ok I don’t have that many dresses, that would be impressive!)

When I did a try-on with LOFT a few months ago it was my goal to find at least one more white dress to add to my collection. LOFT did not disappoint. This smocked puff sleeve dress in seersucker is just the perfect addition to my closet. It’s so lightweight and comfortable that I even wore it to Disney World for a day of engagement photos. I also wore it on a recent trip to meet more of Michaels family and funny enough his cousin and sister were both wearing white too. His cousin liked the dress so much she kept asking where it was from. All in all, this dress has even more fond memories now than it did a month ago.

White Dresses – Not Just for Brides
Not a Bride to Be? Who cares! White dresses are for everyone. (Live your life at your own pace. Please, do NOT feel pressure because people around you are getting married, or having kids, or buying houses. For the past few years I speak for both Michael and I in saying the pressure is so real, even if it is not intended. So from me to you, do not feel pressure. Easier said than done. I know from experience!) Getting back on track now, white dresses are perfect for every summer occasion. Grabbing brunch? White dress. At the beach? White dress. Disney World?! White dress! There are so many options out there. From casual to dressy. With so many options, you might start to see why I seem to always end up with a new white dress in my closet every summer. Not to mention, they go with everything.
