4th of July Dresses to Shop Now

How is the 4th of July just around the corner? It feels like just yesterday was January. Literally, where has the time gone? I’m mixing things up this Independence Day and sharing 4th of July dresses. Last year I wore a skort and was ready for some grass sitting firework fun. I ended up watching the fireworks comfortably from my backyard on a porch swing. So while the skort was practical, it wasn’t as necessary as I thought. Which is why this year I’ve decided a dress for the 4th is the perfect way to go (watch, this 4th of July will be when I sit in the grass). With red, white and blue being such prominent colors for clothing, it’s not hard to find dresses that are perfect for the 4th.

4th of July Dresses Under $50

Typically, I like to keep my fashion picks under $50. But there were some 4th of July dresses that are too perfect to not share. I’m breaking it down into sections so that you can view and shop the price range that works best for you. Here are my top 4th of July dress picks under $50.

Dresses Under $100

So I haven’t bought any of the dresses yet, but I’ll be darned if I don’t by the end of the summer! I’m particularly in love with this tiered gingham dress from the BlueDoor Boutique. To me it is just the epitome of American. It’s seriously as cute as cherry pie, don’t you think? All these dresses are under $100, so still fairly affordable, but just not in my budget currently. I’m hoping some coupons or sales happen soon so I can grab a few of these dresses at a discounted price.

My 4th of July Dress

Prepare to be shocked! My 4th of July dress is a children’s dress! The wins of being petite and flat chested. Not to mention, children’s clothes are so much cheaper than their adult counter parts. I first discovered this maxi at Dillard’s but then found it at Macy’s for half the price! (I’ll be doing a full post on shopping in the children’s section later this summer for anyone interested). To date: I’ve bought 4 children’s dresses this summer for more than half the price of the women’s version. That just makes me ecstatic! Here’s the child’s dress (from Dillard’s and Macy’s) and the adult versions that I found as well.
