This month I’m doing things a little bit differently for my Reasonably Lavish post. Since it is so close to holiday sales, I figured I’d do a round up for those sales instead. I wish I had the inside scoop on all the big deals and sales going on this Black Friday but the fact of the matter is, I don’t. However, I do have some pretty amazing internet research skills so I am able to share some sales and deals that I think are pretty awesome.
I’ve gone Black Friday shopping with my family for many, many years. We aren’t the “get up early and brave the crowds” type shoppers but the “eat some Thanksgiving leftovers for lunch and then go shopping. Oh and don’t forget to snap a picture with the Mall Santa”. In all honesty, I’m probably that way because I don’t need Black Friday as an excuse to go shopping! I do love Black Friday for Christmas gift shopping though. As soon as Santa shows up in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade I am ready for the season, and Christmas gift shopping helps me get in the mood. So without further adieu, here are some of my favorite sales for Black Friday this year.
My Favorite Black Friday Sales
Target Black Friday Sales
If you don’t like Target then we can’t be friends. I’m just kidding (but seriously who doesn’t love Target)? Target already has some amazing prices and brands but here are a few of my favorite sales and deals that they’re having this Black Friday.
- 50% Off Select Books : I’m a bit of a book worm, and when it comes to books with beautiful covers, forget about talking me out of buying it. The book in particular that I’m looking forward to being on sale is Reese Witherspoon’s Whiskey in a Teacup. How could you go wrong with a title like that?!
- Keurig K-Mini : I love Keurig’s, but I’ve never owned one! My roommate had one all throughout college, my boyfriend has the same exact one, work had one, but I have never had one. I think it’s about time that changed. This K-Mini is so preciously tiny and I’m just in love with the color. I couldn’t possibly pass up putting it in this round up, especially when it’s on sale for $49.99.
- Fossil Gen 3 Smartwatch : Now I’m not a tech nerd but I know a cute smartwatch when I see one! The only downside to this watch may very well be it’s battery life, as I’ve read it needs to charge everyday. But we charge our phones everyday, why would it be a problem to charge your smartwatch everyday? Originally $275.00, Target will have it on sale for $165.00, that’s over $100.00 off! And based on my research, Target really has the best deal for this watch.
Kohl’s Black Friday Deals
Since I was young, Kohl’s was always my number one Black Friday destination. This still remains true, though, I’m no longer shopping in the little girls section (ok, I should say not as much. I’m short ok? I fit into some of those coats!)
- Victrola Portable Record Player : Record players have had a huge comeback in recent years and I’m convinced it’s because of this portable turntable everyone is putting out. It doesn’t take up a lot of space, it sounds great, and they’re compatible with your non-vinyl devices (how cool is it that you can play music from your phone on this?!)

SO® Puffer Vest : Even as a Floridian, a good puffer vest is something I can get behind. I actually saw this exact vest on the mannequin on a recent visit to Kohl’s (outfit shopping for Dapper Day) and I couldn’t stop staring at it! This “millennial pink” with the rose gold accent had me sold on it as soon as I laid eyes on it. I saved $35.01 by waiting to buy this vest is on sale for $14.99 this Black Friday.
- Select LC Lauren Conrad Trinket Trays : Lauren Conrad may as well be my spirit animal. She has never made anything that I didn’t want to buy, these trinket trays are no exception!
Barnes & Noble Black Friday Deals
So like I said before, I’m a total bookworm. I could go on and on about how much I love books, old books, new books, picture books, novels, series. Literally if it’s a book, I love it. Because of this, I have multiple copies of my favorite books. If you’re looking to up your #shelflife or someone else’s, than these Barnes & Noble deals are for you!
- 50% Off Select Collectible Editions : This is the table I make a b-line for when I walk into Barnes & Noble. These book covers are beautiful and the Barnes & Noble Collectible Editions are full of classics. Just to name a few that I highly recommend: To Kill a Mockingbird, Dracula, Pride and Prejudice, and my all time favorite book, Wuthering Heights. I’m looking forward to purchasing a few during this sale that I don’t own, such as The Secret Garden shown above.
- 50% Criterion Blu-Ray and DVD’s : I love a good movie, and Black Friday is a great day to get deals on them. Barnes and Noble sells Criterion, which publishes classic and contemporary movies in the highest quality.
- 25% Off Select S’well Bottles : S’well is probably my all time favorite water bottle brand. One time I left my S’well water bottle in the car in the hot Florida summer for about 5 hours and it was still cool when I came back. S’well doesn’t go on sale very often so this is an opportunity I would take advantage of. My favorite from those available on the site is this Spring in Bloom one.

There are also some sales that have already started online if you wanted to get a jump on Black Friday, or just finish your holiday shopping before Thanksgiving so you can spend it with your family. These are some of my favorite sales going on right now!
Kate Spade Surprise Sale
Kate Spade surprise sales are my all time favorite! You can score up to 75% off on bags, jewelry, clothing and so much more! The sale runs until Saturday but many of the items will sell out fast. One of my favorite deals of the Kate Spade surprise sale is the Bundle Shop, where you can get two items at an amazing price! Here are some of my favorite picks from this surprise sale:
J. Crew Factory
J. Crew Factory is having a site wide 40%-50% off full priced items! This is seriously an amazing sale and I really wish I could shop more of it but I know I should limit myself. With so many amazing pieces it was hard to pick just a few to share. You should at the very least look at this sale and see what you can save!
SheIn
SheIn has some amazing prices all year round but they are really pulling out the stops for this Black Friday and Cyber Monday! They haven’t released all of their sales yet but keep your eye out for Friday and Monday! One of the promos they’ll have going on is 10% off your order of $19 or more. Pretty good considering how much you can get from them for that price! Check out some of my favorite picks already on sale from SheIn below. Be sure to check out some of my other post showing off their clothes and dresses! ( I know some people don’t like/trust SheIn, but I’ve never had a problem before. It simply comes down to you get what you pay for).
I know these aren’t all the deals out there this Black Friday (or this Cyber Monday. Does anyone else remember when that wasn’t a thing? Crazy how the world changes!) but these are by far some of my favorite. Be sure to keep your eye out for those sales that roll into your inbox the next couple of days to get the best deals! Please remember though, tomorrow is Thanksgiving and though I’m grateful for sales (praise the sale gods!), we should take time to spend this special day with our friends and family.
