You probably already know but, I own a lot of Lilly Pulitzer. None of which I pay full price for. (How do I do it? Check it our here). While the majority of my Lilly is dresses, I do own a fair share of shorts and tops too. The problem is, Lilly patterns don’t always mix very well with one another. Finding good neutrals to wear with Lilly is one of the most time consuming things in the world to me. So once I’ve found a combination that I like, that tends to be what I stick with. That’s how I stumbled across this blue Lilly Pulitzer outfit. (Ok, I didn’t stumble upon it, I spent long, painstaking hours trying on half my closet). Now that I’ve found this perfect combo, it’s an outfit that you can bet I’ll be wearing a lot more.

Blue Lilly Pulitzer Combination
Is there such thing as too much blue or too much Lilly Pulitzer? (Don’t answer that). I personally don’t believe in too much of a good thing. It’s just not possible to have too much Lilly Pulitzer, pool floaties, or Disney World. As well as other things, but those are the main ones that come to mind at present. This blue Lilly Pulitzer outfit is comprised of one of the very first Lilly purchases I made. I purchased this top while shopping my first After Party Sale. I didn’t know then just how many ways I could wear it. Certainly, I never thought that I’d wear it with a pair of brightly printed Lilly shorts!

Is it bad that I’m waiting for Lilly to have another sale? Their new arrivals and prints for summer are just to die for right now. There’s hardly a pattern I don’t like right now. Which means I certainly don’t want to wait for people to sell it secondhand or be available in a real after party sale. Fingers crossed they’ll offer 30% off again sometime later this summer.
