I like big bows and I cannot lie. The bigger the bow, the better, especially on the back of a dress. The most coveted dress in my closet is a Kate Spade dress with a huge bow on the back of it. But I have to say, this bow back dress from Sister Jane might just blow it out of the water. The jacquard fabric, perfectly dipped back, pearl trim, and gorgeous silhouette, make every detail on this dress impeccable. (Not to mention, the bow back, if you missed it). Simply put, this dress is one of a kind and I’ve fallen head over heels with it.

When it comes to Sister Jane, I’d say this dress is actually quite tame. The bow back seems to be the most exaggerated item on the dress. Typically there’s more flare in the skirt, puff in the sleeve, and drama in the print. However, this dress is classic elegance in every sense of the word. I might dare say this dress being slightly understated is an overstatement for Sister Jane!

To Rent or Buy this Bow Back Dress
I rented this dress from Nuuly for one of my monthly subscriptions. For whatever reason I thought I’d be totally satisfied just renting it here and there throughout the year. But after having it for a month I truly feel it wasn’t long enough. Would I wear it multiple times a month? I don’t really know. However, I am completely obsessed with it. So whether it becomes a purchase over the next few months is a very real possibility. At the very least I’d like to rent it again and pair it with the Loeffler Randall look alike shoes that I just bought. They would no doubt pair even more perfectly than the bow heels I’m wearing here.
