I wasn’t really planning on having two outfits for this post but life’s funny that way. This past weekend when I was going out to do some shopping I threw on my favorite casual fall top. It’s loose, soft, and has the perfect amount of detail. As I threw it on I realized, there wasn’t a pair of jeans in sight. So I grabbed my gingham skirt to venture to find jeans. It took all of 2 seconds for me to decide, nope this is good enough. And that’s how this post came to be. This casual fall top, 2 ways.
Dress it Up – Casual Fall Top
Like I said, I was in no way planning on wearing this top with this skirt. I’ve tried to wear the top with a skirt before and just didn’t like the way it looked. I don’t know if pairing it with a denim skirt made me not like it or just that denim skirt. Regardless, I haven’t attempted to pair this top with anything but jeans since. Which is why I was pleasantly surprised with this combo. Maybe I just really like this skirt but, I think it goes really well together. It’s a fun way to dress up this comfortable top. Before I wouldn’t have thought to wear it to work on any day other than Friday. Now I’m convinced this casual fall top is great for any day of the work week.
Dress it Down
Like I said, my go to for this casual fall top is with a pair of jeans. It’s easy, it’s (mostly) comfortable, and cute. This is all of course hinging on the fact that you have a pair of jeans to wear at the time. Now that I’ve found my pair of jeans, I’ll be keeping them close. Chilly Saturday mornings are in Florida’s future and this is a great outfit for morning coffee.
Shop More Casual Fall Tops
Unfortunately, I bought this specific top last year on clearance from Target and it is no longer available. Of course you can always check Poshmark for it, but I’ve also included some other similar casual fall tops. Sometimes you just need something comfortable to get you through dreary fall days. You can also shop Target right now for some amazing clothing deals, like awesome sale on Activewear!
