Lilly Pulitzer Maxi Linley Dress

I have great news for many of you…a good chunk of my readers live in Florida. Another good chunk live in other warm areas. (Am I giving too much away about my analytics?) Which means we all full well know it’s still summertime. There’s no use trying to pull out sweaters or long sleeves yet because the high is still in the 90’s everyday. Other than an office sweater I haven’t touched anything with sleeves in what feels like months. So I figured, it’s time to pause the trendy fall post and be realistic. The truth is, I’m still wearing my Lilly Pulitzer maxi dress that has cutouts on the sides and spaghetti straps. Clearly it is not a dress made for fall or winter, heck maybe not even spring. This Lilly Pulitzer maxi is 100% a summertime dress.

Linley Dress

Truth be told, the Linley maxi dress has probably been one of the hardest Lilly Pulitzer dresses to find. I can’t ever find it on eBay and I’ve really only seen it on Poshmark like 3 times. It’s especially hard to find it in this Tiki Pink Beach Bliss print. Luckily I seriously scored a few years ago when I found this dress on Posh. Not only did the seller work with me on price but it had already been hemmed to the perfect height. (I really struggle with Lilly Pulitzer Maxi dresses because of the length. Often their models are at least 5 inches taller than me and hemming can be such a pain). Fingers crossed more pop up on the market soon because it makes me feel like a million bucks.

New Lilly Pulitzer Maxi Dresses

It feels like Lilly has really been pushing to produce more maxi dresses. I think that it’s right on trend as maxi dresses have been all the rage the past few summers. I’m also glad to see that they are producing some well into the fall. Have you seen their latest prints though? Extra kudos to them for making even more fall inspired prints!
