It seems like every time I’m on the hunt for a particular clothing item that it comes out a year later. For instance, last year as I was preparing for my bachelorette party I was searching for a blue floral tennis skirt or dress. (Also, how was that only in January 2022?!) Much to my dismay, I couldn’t find anything remotely close to what I was looking for. Luckily, it was freezing during my bachelorette, so even if I had found something I would have never worn it. Now that over a year has passed though, floral tennis skirts and dresses are blooming everywhere. (See what I did there. 😉 A little spring humor for you). Not only are they now available, but also for a great price! I’ve found particularly chic tennis dresses from TJ Maxx for under $50! Hard to beat a price like that for something that’s cute and practical.

Where to Wear a Tennis Dress
While the first place I think of wearing a tennis dress to is playing tennis, that’s far from the only place to wear a tennis dress. Another top place to wear one is theme parks, particularly Disney World if you’re a mouse lover like me. The Florida heat is getting to be pretty unbearable as we get closer to summer, and a tennis dress is the perfect thing to wear to make it slightly more bearable. Not to say you won’t be sweating, but the athletic quality of the dress will help wick sweat away and keep you slightly cooler. (All while still looking chic, of course).
I’ve found myself wearing a tennis dress in one place I didn’t think I’d really wear it, home. With packing and moving to our new house, it’s the perfect outfit to wear. It’s let’s me move, keeps me from having wardrobe malfunctions, and is ultra cute. What more could a girl possibly ask for than that? I wore a tennis skirt and dress all last weekend while packing up the house. And it was, by far, one of the smartest decisions I’ve ever made.
