Classic Summer Prints

Ah summer, my favorite season. It’s full of beach trips, backyard barbecues, and picnics in the park. What all of these activities bring to mind is one print, which to me will forever be a classic, gingham (or simply, checkered). Whether it’s a picnic or beach blanket that has this print, or a tablecloth pulled out for the annual summer BBQ, it can be found all across America and has become an American Dream staple, just like the white picket fence. It is a print that has found a way to stay out of my closet for so long because I just hadn’t found the piece that screamed me (and not lumberjack). I am glad to say that there have been so many gingham pieces this season that have me all heart eyes (and soon an empty wallet). I am also ecstatic because I have finally found MY gingham piece! This adorable wrap top is from SheIn and gives you the ability to make your bow as big (or as little) as you want! Now I realize the giant bow may not be for everyone, but for me I just had to have it. The key to pieces like this is to OWN IT (and I promise you, when you own it, no one will question you).
