Well guys this is super embarrassing. Before I get into talking about this adorable crop set I have to tell you a personal story. I’ve officially been blogging on CentralFloridaChic.com for two years now! My domain renewal period passed about a week ago and guess who didn’t update her billing information in time? This girl! As you may have noticed, my site has been offline for about a week now. All because I didn’t renew soon enough. Can I get an “oops”? The good news is no blog post or websites were harmed due to my stupidity. Thank God! But seriously, I’ve been blogging for two years now and it feels like it’s been a lifetime. I mean that in the best way possible because I love it. This past week since my site has been down I took it easy and didn’t really produce any new content or take any new pictures. It was weird to say the least. Almost like I lost a little part of myself. Call me conceited but I love looking at my outfits day in and day out. I can’t help it that I like clothes!

In the time that I “took off” from blogging, I managed to acquire this stunning crop set from Lilly Pulitzer. The Lilly Melody crop set has been on my wishlist essentially since I discovered Lilly Pulitzer. By the time I discovered it, it was well within seasons past. So I took to finding it secondhand, as I do. I’ve found it at GatorLilly’s before, but never in my size. I’ve found it on Poshmark a handful of times, but never wanted to pay the high prices. Finally, I found it on Poshmark last week for a darn good price, AND I had Posh credits to pay for it. It was a total win-win.
Lilly Pulitzer Melody Crop Set
I knew when I came back from my website hiatus that I wanted to come back big. To me, this crop set is exactly that. It arrived Saturday ahead of schedule and I wore it all day Sunday for pictures, dinner, and even a little birthday celebration. When it comes to showing skin while wearing normal clothes I feel that I’m pretty conservative. Swimsuits however are a completely different story. I often don’t wear crop tops unless I have a high waist to accompany it. Typically if any skin in showing, I’ll try and tug my top down. However, this melody crop set tailors perfectly to my conservative side. Just a thin slice of skin is showing and everything is snug so I don’t have to worry about any kind of wardrobe malfunction.
