There’s a time for cut outs and there’s times for modesty. Summer is definitely not one for modesty though. As the saying goes: suns out, buns out. Though this post has nothing to do with buns, I will be sharing a round up of my favorite cut out dresses. I used to struggle with the idea of cut outs and crop tops, but after moving back to Florida, it quickly became a thing of the past. Especially after I acquired this Lilly Pulitzer Linley cut out dress. Now that I’m becoming more comfortable with cut outs, I’ve bought another beautiful cut out maxi dress. This WAYF dress truly inspired this post to find other gorgeous cut out dresses. They’re perfect for summer time and show just enough skin to be subtly sexy.

Breezy Summer Cut Out Dress
Below you’ll find some of my favorite cut out dresses for summer. They all seem to have the same vibe as the WAYF dress that I just love. It’s almost got a cottagecore type theme to it. Florals and puff sleeves are equally as great for summer. They add a little extra interest to an outfit or dress. (Bonus points if one dress has both!)
This WAYF dress was a great find at Marshalls. It’s still available in limited sizes on the Marshalls website if you want to snag it before it’s gone. It’s a great price at under $50 and has the prettiest vintage floral print. WAYF now sells the same version of this dress in white that I also love. White and dainty florals are perfect for summer. The only downside of this dress is that it isn’t the most lightweight, so it can get a bit warm on your legs. So long as you don’t stand in direct sunlight though it is very comfortable for summer.
