This week has been sad for many Disney fans. Dapper day was supposed to be this week but due to corona…it’s clearly not happening. Kudos to those die hard dapper day fans who are still taking the opportunity to dress up at home. Once Disney World closed in March, I decided to play it by ear and didn’t even bother putting together a dapper outfit. So instead of focusing on Disney dapper outfits I wanted to look into Disney Designer collaborations. Not that I’ll ever be able to afford any of it, but I sure love looking at it all.
Disney Designer #1 – Gucci
Unpopular opinion here but, I’m not really a huge fan of Gucci. Not to say I hate everything Gucci, but it all starts looking the same eventually. However, the current Gucci x Disney collaboration is totally up my alley. It has a Hawaiian/tropical vibe which I love. All the items in this Gucci collection also seems to be missing the obvious red and green stripes. While I do love Christmas, I’m over those Gucci stripes.
Disney Designer #2 – Coach
The Coach x Disney designer collection right now is relying a lot on Dumbo. Since I’m a huge fan of Tim Burton of course I loved the new Dumbo movie. Which in turn has made me obsessed with Dumbo. I was so excited when it came out last year that I took every opportunity at Disney to do something Dumbo related. Ultimately I had to wait until the movie came out on DVD to see it because a bad case of food poisoning. Though the circumstances a year ago were different, I’m still just as obsessed with the new Dumbo and in turn this Coach collaboration with Disney.
Affordable Finds
Like I said, I’ll never be able to afford any of the Disney designer collaborations. But I can afford the equally as fun and adorable Disney style from collaborations with more affordable stores and brands. Here are a few of my other favorite Disney finds that are much more budget conscious.
