Alright guys, I’m finally feeling like I’m back in the groove of things! Over the holidays I wanted to relax and focus on family. And then that whole fiasco last week…let’s not re-live it. But today’s outfit I am so excited for! I’ve already worn it a multiple times in the few short months of winter we’ve had here in Florida. It features the fashion cape I bought back in fall, as well as some of my favorite pair of boots I’ve recently bought.

I first put this outfit together while getting ready to go watch my boyfriends brother play basketball (go wolves!). It was mostly a grab and go ensemble that I threw this cape over because it was chilly (and because fashion). I wasn’t expecting the outfit to be all that great. Jeans typically make me feel lackluster. But then I put on the new boots I had bought and a headband and I was like, dang. This outfit is caaaa-uuuuute. And that’s how this outfit started to rotate on repeat. (I even almost wore it for Christmas but, my jeans were dirty).

Shortly after I purchased this cape on Amazon fashion, it vanished. Which to me means, it was very popular and sold out. Unfortunately that meant none of y’all could even find it. I can’t even begin to tell you how much of a fraud I feel like when items I’ve just bought sell out. ( I pretty much feel like I’m saying “Oh look at these fabulous jeans I found! You can’t have them.” The worst feeling). BUT that has changed as I have found the exact cape (or poncho as Amazon calls it) for under $50! I never knew I could be that excited about a fashion item I already had (especially a cape). So if you loved it back in fall, be sure to snag it now before it (inevitably) gets lost on Amazon again.
