I’ve had this dress for almost a year now and it’s still one of my best sellers from the blog. This floral maxi dress is a great Dolce & Gabbana look-a-like at a fraction of the price. I found it on Amazon during stay at home orders last year and have loved it ever since. It’s under $50 and the Amazon seller has a ton of other dresses that are great look-a-likes of other designer brands too. Let’s dive in shall we?

Dolce & Gabbana Look-a-Like
When you hear Dolce & Gabbana what do you think? Designer? Over $1000? Unaffordable? Those are just a few things that come to my mind when I think about the brand. However, there are some positives. Dolce & Gabbana is certainly well made, uses luxury fabrics, and are statement pieces. I’m for all of those things, but with most items (even on sale) being well of $1000, it’s just not reasonable for me. When I fall in love with something from a designer that I can’t afford, I run to my favorite look-a-like sites. Sometimes I can find something, sometimes I can’t. But when I do, it’s like a beam shining down from heaven.
Floral Maxi Dress Review
Since this dress is from Amazon I wanted to give a little review. Personally, I don’t shop on Amazon thinking that the quality will be good. I go in with low expectations and then am pleasantly surprised if it’s better than expected. This floral maxi dress is certainly does exceed my expectations, but it still looks gorgeous. The fabric is very light weight and has a sheen to it. Almost like a “silk” bath robe. (Not really silk, but whatever the fabric they use to imitate it). If you just can’t stand cheap fabric, step away from this dress. But like I said, I don’t shop on Amazon expecting much. The sizing is fairly spot on however the bust area is larger than I would have liked. I took it in just a smidge and it fits much better. The length is perfect with a pair of heels. For reference, I’m 5 2 and with a 3in heel it hits perfectly.
