Mexican Style – Trends to Watch

With our honeymoon in Cancun, I went all out on my Nuuly rentals for March. I looked into what characteristics make up native Mexican style and ran with it. Mexico naturally invokes images of sombreros and vibrant colors. It should come as no surprise that these two key elements are in much of Mexican culture and style. The sombrero has a wide brim with the goal of sun protection. And the vibrant colors are often created by or accompanied with embroidery. With those two characteristics in mind, I’d saw I nailed my looks for Cancun. Bright colors and embroidery in almost every piece and impeccable sun coverage. (Plus sunscreen. Do not forget the sunscreen).

It’s hard to choose my favorite look from the week. With so many beautiful styles how could you expect one to choose? Each one of these dresses now holds a special memory from our honeymoon with it. So it’s sad to know that I have to send them all back. But the hundreds of photos we took on our honeymoon will suffice to keep the memories alive. The takeaway? 10/10 recommend renting your wardrobe for your next trip. There’s no better feeling than wearing something new in a new place.
