When it comes to fall in Florida it’s not surprise that our outfits have to be a little different. Sure there are time I get dressed up in total fall attire and take photos, but that only last a half hour tops. When it comes to a normal Florida fall day though, things are more practical than photographic. Not to say that I don’t incorporate fall into these outfits meant for 80 degree weather. Just that they require a lot less than places that actually get fall. Here’s 3 outfits I’ll be wearing in Florida this fall. (And some tips on how to transition them for up north).

Outfit #1
Outfit: Mini Plaid Skirt with Mock Neck Tee & OTK boots
This is by far one of my favorite outfits to wear in fall. A mini skirt and mock tee are perfect for warm days in Florida. While over the knee boots aren’t always practical, I haven’t found a bootie that I really love yet either. However, once I find the right pair of ankle boots I’ll be wearing this outfit a lot more often. A great alternative to booties is a chic pair of sneakers. My favorite? Classic white Keds.
How to Wear it Up North: Add a jacket or wear it with a sweater. Don’t forget some OTK boots and tights!

Outfit #2
Outfit: Denim Dress, Button Up, and Printed Espadrilles
I bought this denim pinafore dress last year and it has become a staple for my fall and winter wardrobe. It’s such a great layering piece that can be paired with so much. From sleeveless tops, to t-shirts and button ups. I chose to go with a classic look for today’s outfit and pair it with a button up and some fun espadrilles.
How to Wear it Up North: Add a sweatshirt over it all and pair with your favorite boots.

Outfit #3
Outfit: White Pants, Mock Tank, and Plaid Blazer
This outfit is the one I am by far the most excited to wear. White after Labor Day is definitely a rule I break all the time. I love how sophisticated white on white can be. (And I especially love all white outfits even more right now). I paired these pants and body suit with the perfect tweed blazer for fall and of course, some white Keds.
How to Wear it Up North: Switch out the tank for a knit sweater and pair with some OTK boots.
