Barbiecore meets preppy in this Gal Meets Glam bow dress! This pink bow dress became available at what feels like the most opportune time. Barbiecore and all things pink are still all the rage after the release of the Barbie movie last year. And bows are trending this year too. (Though if you ask me, bows are always trending). So when I snagged this dress off Mercari, it couldn’t be more perfect for February and Valentine’s Day.

I’ve loved the Gal Meets Glam brand since its creation. Unfortunately, at the time the brand was around, I couldn’t afford it. Now that I’m older, the brand has inevitably gone away. Which means when I look for Gal Meets Glam (bows on the dress or not) I’m looking secondhand. Which is just a testament to the quality of these dresses and clothes. Luckily, Julia Berolzheimer has not stopped designing and has another brand we can drool over, Parterre. While they don’t have releases nearly as often, they’re still gorgeous and, I’m sure, high quality.
Pink Bow Dress
While pink and bows are certainly very trendy right now, this is a dress that will be classic forever. Like all of the styles from Gal Meets Glam, they were made with longevity in mind. Both in quality and in style. These are dresses that your daughter or granddaughter will pull out years down the road and think “She dressed impeccably”. Say what you want about timeless styles, but they are called classic for a reason. Style trends may come and go, but timelessness will never go out of style.
