The average Florida temperature is now over 90 degrees, making every hour of the day a perfect time to wear a bikini. One of my favorite bikinis I’ve purchased this season is this Flamingo Bikini.
The designer swimsuit version of this bikini has been on the market for over a year, and while cute in the prints and patterns they offered, I couldn’t cough up $70 for a top. Besides, the designer brand didn’t have it in a flamingo print and clearly, this print is one that I had to have. Rest assured, this bikini comes in over 10 different prints/colors on Amazon.
The best thing about this bikini (besides covering all my favorite summer trends), is the price. This bikini will only make your wallet $25 lighter, and if you have Prime, not even shipping will be a problem. While there are cheaper ones on the market, I can’t say I would recommend them based on reviews saying they are poor quality, cheap, and the sizing being way off. Amazon quality can be a little scary in general but after reading countless reviews on this bikini, I finally pulled the trigger. I can say with confidence that this is a great quality bikini! It completely exceeded my expectations and I hope it will for you too. Now, let’s break down those swim trends, shall we?
Pom Pom and Tassels
This flamingo bikini has the most adorable Pom Pom or tassel trend (depending on which style and print you go with). The Pom Pom trend is one I didn’t mention in my swim guide for this summer, but one that I totally love. It’s been around for a couple summer seasons now and I don’t think it’s going anywhere anytime soon. When I saw this bikini last year on Revolve I remember thinking how gosh darn cute it was, but sadly didn’t have the money to buy it. Which is why I’m so thankful for Amazon. Even though this cutie is only $25 it doesn’t skimp on quality and the sizing is spot on. The fact that this suit is still a prize winner a year later just goes to show how much Pom Poms are still in.
Mesh Cut Out
This mesh trend is one that I did talk about in my swim trends post. There’s not a ton of mesh on this bikini, but just enough to break it up nicely. I think based on the pattern and Pom Pom/tassel color you choose it stands out more as well (especially on the black). The mesh on this suit absolutely has a slimming effect, which is something I always appreciate, especially in a bikini!
High Waisted
Another trend that I talked about is the high waist. High waist is a trend I’ve watched for a while but never felt like I could pull off. As we all can see, I absolutely can, and so can you! While I love shopping Amazon I will tell you to read reviews and use your best discretion when shopping on it, and any online site. I felt very comfortable making this purchase after reading reviews, especially to find out my size. I’m typically a size small in swim suits and went with the size 4 option. I also checked out multiple sellers on Amazon before I made the purchase to make sure I was getting the best quality, and price. Rest assured, if my review isn’t enough, there’s a ton more online.
