Holiday Gifts for the Bride to Be

I’ve found that I really do love being a bride to be, no matter how much I didn’t want to. However, things I don’t really love are your typical gifts for the bride. By that I mean, I don’t love the idea of having a bunch of stuff that says “bride” or “engaged” on it because it has such a limited time to it. Once you’re married you are no longer the bride or engaged. It seems like a bit of a waste to get a bride to be a ton of gifts like that. A few, of course, are necessary. However, getting things that only use limited phrases isn’t exactly my cup of coffee. So today I wanted to share some gifts for the bride to be that she’ll be able to use throughout her marriage, and not just the time leading up to it. (PS: these also make great holiday gifts and I’d personally love any of them as well!)

Gifts for the Bride

Minimal Sweater – These are not only trendy right now, but will be timeless in the future. Especially if your bride to be isn’t one who wants to draw to much attention to herself.

Personalized Jewelry – I love the idea of a personalized piece like a necklace or bracelet. Even just the wedding date will make something sentimental that she can wear forever.

Hand Painted Champagne Bottle – I’m the type of person that will buy things for their packaging and then keep them on the shelf. The idea of a custom painted champagne bottle that the bride and groom can open and enjoy on their anniversary is so special. And it makes the perfect art piece for the house.

Travel Ring Box – I’ve already run into the problem of how to store my ring when traveling. But when you add two more rings on top of the engagement ring (wedding ring & his ring) I’m sure it’s going to be extra complicated. A travel ring box with at least 3 slots solves this problem and it super cute too.

Tips to Keeping it Current

I know it’s easy to get caught up in the “bride to be / engaged” craze. But once you’ve lived past the moment you might regret getting everything that says that. Keep things timeless by using phrases like “Mrs.” & “Wifey” instead. (Like on the mug, request for it to just say “Mrs.: and removed the “future”). Even better if you use their new last name and wedding date. Two things that will never end up changing.
