Mini Moon At Disney World’s Riviera Resort

There is just so much to catch up on post wedding. I’ve certainly been slacking in the blog post category. While photos are easy to snap and share on the gram, blog post take a little more time and thought. While it may take a little more time to put together, I sure have a lot of blog content I can put together. Like our mini moon at Disney.

The night of our wedding we ventured over to Disney’s Riviera Resort for a mini moon of 2 nights. While we could have just “gone home” it was a magical experience to stay a Disney for a couple of nights following our wedding. It kept the wedding magic alive.

The Riviera has been on my list for only a short time. I wasn’t too impressed with what I saw when it first opened. But since then, I’ve been able to see it in a new light as more experiences were shared from there. I was so excited to be able to stay there. Even if it had only been one night I would have loved it just as much. However, I’m glad we got to stay two nights because we got to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from our balcony the second night.

Disney World Mini Moon

Somehow the majority of our mini moon at Disney was not spent at the Riviera, but it certainly made an impression. The breakfast options are absolutely to die for. And I’m talking about the quick service option. We ordered the most delicious cheese tray and charcuterie board, and also a delectable egg sandwich. (Note to Disney: Can you please add the cheese tray to other quick service menus? We’d order it every single time). And as for the theming of the Riviera, it is impeccable. The charm is over the top and I’d visit again even without a room. You may see me wandering the hallways of every floor just to find all the hidden gems in this place.

The highlight of our mini moon at Disney was no doubt staying at the Riviera. But that’s not the only thing we did while there. We also met up with friends at Disney Springs for lunch and to pick up our Passholder magnets. As well as, meeting up with other friends at Animal Kingdom and enjoying some of the day with them. It was truly so amazing to be able to keep the party going after the wedding and enjoy time with friends at Disney World for a mini moon.
