Time for another Instagram suggested post! As many of you know, I love buying clothes secondhand. That means Poshmark, Style Encore, local thrift shops (my favorite in Orlando is Avalon Exchange), and (of course) Goodwill. So today I’m sharing just a few of my favorite thrifted outfits that I’ve put together over the years. Never underestimate the amazing clothes and deals you can find secondhand!

Thrifted Outfits for Work
Secondhand stores are a great place to shop for workwear. In particular, Goodwill has a great selection of workwear. I can always find a great pencil skirt or work dress when I go thrift shopping. They have great workwear brands like Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, and J. Crew. For someone coming right out of college to enter a professional work field this is a great option! Dresses are under $10, skirts are typically under $5. These are prices that you can’t beat. Just make sure they fit well. It doesn’t have to be a designer brand for it to look great, but it does have to fit you. Here’s my favorite thrifted finds for work.
Casual & More
We all know the stereotype of thrift stores. They’re dirty, they only have eclectic clothes, and it’s always old t-shirts. Well, right and wrong. I’m guilty of donating my old, raggedy, and ripped items to Goodwill. (I somehow feel better for doing that than throwing them away. Don’t ask me why). But the saying is 100% true, one mans trash is another mans treasure. One girls vintage Lilly Pulitzer is my Lilly goldmine! I can’t even begin to tell you how much Lilly I’ve found while thrifting. My favorite has to be this Margarita Shrimp Cocktail skort. The print is to die for, is it not? My favorite pair of denim shorts also come from Goodwill. Another helpful tip while thrift shopping? If you like it, try it on. These denim shorts are nowhere near my normal size, but they fit like a glove!
Also shout out to one of my best friends Monika who is just too cute and adorable for her own good! I found this skirt at Goodwill as well and thought every girl needs at least one piece of Lilly in their closet. Does she not look just fab in this?! Talk about a real fashionista.
Formal Wear Thrifted Outfit
I know people that have bought a homecoming, a prom, and even a wedding dress from the thrift store! While I’ve never bought a dress from a thrift store for these occasions, I did buy an extremely formal dress. This is a dress I bought for my first Dapper Day at Disney World. It is gorgeous and though I don’t get to wear it on a daily basis, you can bet it’ll be in my closet for awhile.
