Sound the trumpets because it’s finally here! The post you’ve all been asking for (and by all I mean, my mom). My holiday wishlist for 2018 is a compilation of things I want, need, and think I need. Do I actually need anything in this post? Of course not. Will my life cease to be as I knew it if I don’t receive these? I certainly hope not. Will my moms mind be put at ease when this post goes live? You bet it will! So even if no one but my mom cares about this post that’s ok. And who knows, maybe it’ll inspire your wishlist too!
My Holiday Wishlist 2018 Might Not Be the Most Affordable….
Let’s just get this fact out of the way, this Holiday Wishlist 2018 is not going to be the most affordable list I’ve ever posted. Some of the items on my wishlist are within the same price range as my other post, but there are also some things that are not. This is not my affordable gift guide, or my black Friday round up. But I would just like to say, everything in both of those post I would love to receive! Why would I gift something to someone that I didn’t like myself? The fact of the matter is, in life, if you don’t ask there is almost no chance you will receive. That is the point of me putting items that have a high price tag. I don’t expect to get any of them, but life is full of surprises.

The Holiday Wishlist 2018 Breakdown
The Tech and Tech Accessories
I use my laptop a lot. It gets used daily (like many people) and with all my different Adobe programs running my computer has a tendency to overheat. I can almost always hear the fan running overtime in it and that is why I have this cooling desk on my list. I’ve also been looking for a better way to carry my electronics around (other than in the sleeve I have). I’ve obsessed over this backpack since I did my back to school post. While I’ve debated over a briefcase/large purse over a new backpack for awhile, I really think that a backpack fits my lifestyle (and my stuff) better than a briefcase right now. Maybe if I decide to upgrade to a smaller laptop I’ll look into briefcases, but for now I’m content with the laptop I have.
The Polaroids
The question is: Do I really need two polaroid cameras? The answer is: 100% Yes! If you don’t know, I majored in photography so I’m a bit of a camera nerd. When it comes to digital or film, I will always prefer film because of how hands on it is. There’s just nothing like developing your own picture from scratch. What I love about the polaroid camera is, it mixes old school film with the instant gratification of the digital age. To me, a polaroid camera is like the first camera phone. A small(ish) electronic device that lets you take a picture and see it instantly. Not to mention, the science behind a polaroid picture is so cool, but I won’t go into that. I like both these versions of the camera for various reasons. The main reasons being, 1. I’m a sucker for gold, rose gold, and millennial pink (I can’t help but be influenced!) and 2. I freaking love Disney. This Polaroid camera for Mickey’s 90th Birthday is just too stinkin’ perfect.
The Travel Accessories
I’ve had this gut feeling that I’m going to be doing quite a bit of traveling in the coming year. I’m not really sure why I feel that way as I only have one trip planned but… Anyways, it’s always good to be prepared and I think these packing cubes and other travel goodies will come in handy no matter how much (or little) traveling I end up doing this year.
The Books
Honestly, I could have included so many more books but thought it would be good to limit myself. I found Juniper Books fairly recently and they are a book lovers dream. With an amazing collection of books and the most gorgeous ways of adorning them I had to include at least one set of books from them. I found this other fun book while shopping at Target a fews weeks ago and thought it would make the perfect little coffee table book. Added perk that it also includes a ton a pretty style illustrations.
The Mugs
Mug obsessed and so so blessed. Confession time: I moved back in with my parents after college and still live with them currently. That meant my collection of over 50 mugs (and growing) came back home with me. The majority of them sit on the top shelf of the kitchen cabinets where I cannot reach. My parents joke that, “We won’t charge you for rent but we’ll charge for your mug storage”. They are so funny. Even though they say that and tell me to not buy any new mugs, they are the ones that end up buying me more! Which is why I’m putting a couple on here because you can never go wrong with a mug as a present.
The Tupperware
I’m sure the question now is: Why is the heck is that on her list if she still lives with her rents? First and foremost, you can never own too much tupperware. It’s impossible. Secondly, I am hoping to move out within the next few months so I’ll need to start my own collection of tupperware. When it comes to building that up, there is no time like the present.

Look, sometimes a girls just gotta ask for some new fashion items! I’ve been eyeing a lot of them for awhile and have been good and not bought them. It was time for them to just show up on a list and see what happens!
