As the holiday season gets closer, I like to dress a little more festively. To me, nothing is more festive for the holidays and New Year than a sequin dress. Whether it’s just a few sequins here and there or a million sequins all over the dress, you’re sure to shine during the holiday season! The really nice thing about wearing a sequin dress during the holidays vs other parts of the year is that, you still fit in with all the holiday cheer. So even if you aren’t looking to be the center of attention, you can still enjoy wearing a little sparkle.

I’ve spent the past 5 years looking for all the right sequin dresses. Hardly a holiday season goes by without me picking up some new sparkly dress to add to my closet. However, the past two years I’ve been falling back on what’s already in my closet. I have 3 sequin dresses that are all so classic, but each different from the other. There’s always an occasion to wear all 3 of them this time of year. So instead of going out searching for something new this year, I’d sticking with the classics I have.
Ruffle + Sparkle
By far, this ruffle and sequin dress has been my least worn. But for good reason. It was the newest sequin dress of my collection so I haven’t had as long to wear it. The velvet sash on this dress is the perfect thing to break up all the sparkle. And is a great way to tie in other accessories, like a velvet headband and clutch. Heck, even my shoes have a little sparkle and velvet in them. Can you say match made in heaven? Definitely going to wear this combo more throughout the season.
