Time for another put together and casual summer look. There was a time when graphic tees were all that I wore. Ones with animals, ones with characters, ones of bands, the list is endless. And I literally wore those things to death. When I finally got back on the “well dressed all the time” train, I was like, so totally done with tees. I didn’t even want to wear one to Disney World. To me they became childish. Then came the time I started following more fashion bloggers and I realized, a fun printed or graphic tee can absolutely look put together and presentable. And the striped graphic tee? Well that’s just timeless.

Striped Graphic Flamingo Tee
If you know me at all you know I’ve become obsessed with flamingos, pineapples, and palm trees since moving back down to Florida. No matter where I see them, I have to have them. (Yes, even at the grocery store). So when I saw this striped graphic tee with a flamingo on it…let’s just say the purchase was instant. I’ve worn this tee about a dozen different ways. With jean shorts, a chambray skirt, jeans, the list is endless. Something I have never paired it with until now however, was a pair of colored shorts. When I purchased these pink shorts from Poshmark, I knew it would be the perfect match with this tee.

Preppy Stripes
The striped graphic tee has completely changed my life for the better. After I went through my slop teenage years when I always wore a tee, I was scared to ever pick one up again. What if I fell into the same pattern of ill-fitted jeans and an over-sized tee? I’d never forgive myself. The striped tee made me see just how much of a staple a t-shirt is. Had I not relearned to love, and style a tee right, I never would have made this plain white tee post. And I never would have bought a college t-shirt, or wear my old band tees again.
