Yay for recent purchases! I’m just waiting on one more item to arrive before I do a full try on session with everything. Before I do that whole round up though, I just can’t wait to show off a few items individually! I’ve had my eye on this poplin dress from J. Crew for a couple months but there was no way I was going to spend full price on it. While J. Crew does always have some great sales, it’s still not enough incentive for me to buy. That is unless there’s a discount on top of a discount. However, I didn’t need that incentive to make that purchase this time because it was included in Nordstrom’s recent sale! It’s stunning and I’m so glad I got it.

Poplin Dress with Stripes
Can’t you see this at the beach? Maybe as a cover up, maybe just for a stroll. Regardless, if screams beach to me. It’s got the nautical stripes (which is especially evident in the blue) and the flowy feel from the tiers in the dress. I love that it’s loose enough for me to easily wear it as a cover up at the beach. But I also love that I can add a belt and bag to it to play is up for a nice evening look.
J. Crew Sizing
Alright, I do hate the be that Debby downer and bring up J. Crews sizing yet again but, I can’t ignore it. Maybe it’s just me because I don’t really see many other people complain about their sizing. Am I just too petite, with no boobs or butt to have their stuff fit me right? I mean, it is fitting, when it comes in my size. But not many of their items come in a 000. Or when they do it’s limited stock and I can’t snag it. Is it just me that feels J. Crew runs a little bit compared to other brands? I’d really love to know your thoughts because I do feel bad for bringing it up every time I get something from J. Crew. At the same time though, I’d love to know I’m not alone.
