I mentioned in a post last week how white pants are the only pants I wear in summer. To prove a point (and show that you can do it too) I’m sharing 3 ways to wear white pants this summer. These may not be my go to outfits for summer during the day but white pants are absolutely my go to for a night out on the town.
Unfortunately there’s not going to be too much “going out” this summer. A local pub reported over 30 Covid cases and ultimately closed their doors for the time being. I’m not usually a bar only type girl anyways so this isn’t too disappointing. I can still enjoy nights out with friends at restaurants, and I have already. Hopefully as the summer continues there will be more opportunities to meet up after work or on the weekends.

Ways to Wear Summer White Pants
Without a doubt my favorite way to wear pants in the summer is with an off the shoulder top. Last year I wore this Lilly Pulitzer top and this year I have another Lilly Pulitzer off shoulder top. In a different print and style of course. I have to admit that I definitely like this years version better with white pants. It’s very clean, sleek, and modern, if I do say so myself. However it is without a doubt that off the shoulder tops and pants pair perfectly in summer.

White Pants and A Crop Top
While I don’t like showing off too much skin, these pants come up high enough that I feel ok wearing a crop top with them. This crop top is actually from a set I recently bought. I love being able to wear it in different ways outside of the original set. I especially love this outfit because it reminds me of an outfit that Bianca wears in 10 Things I Hate About You. (Heath Ledger is like, such a babe).

Pair it with a Fun Knit
Who said knits were basic? They certainly can be boring at times but that should just encourage you to take this basic to the next level! I’ve invested a bit of my money this year into getting more basic knits and tees. This time I decided to pair these pants with a nautical striped knit with some fun detailing around the sleeves. Somebody find me a boat because I’m ready to go sailing in this outfit.
