My recent shopping passion is online boutique shopping. Sometimes it can be difficult to find good boutiques in your area, which is why I’ve invested my time looking for quality online boutiques. One of my favorite boutiques in Orlando is Annabelle’s. The only downside of boutiques is, they can be constrained to the price of the brands that they sell. This isn’t always true but typically a good business model depends on you making money on items you sell, not just breaking even. While online boutiques offer some minor and seasonal sales here and there, it’s not very often that items are marked lower than 30% off. However, in general boutique brands are fairly affordable and if you watch your favorite boutiques you can catch some amazing deals and discounts.
My Favorite Online Boutiques
Blue Door Boutique
I discovered the Blue Door Boutique around Memorial Day and just fell in love with it. Their styles are chic, unique and affordable. I particularly fell in love with this English Factory picnic dress. I’ve been eagerly waiting for it to go on sale so that it was more in my price range. All that waiting paid off with their 4th of July Sale that offered 40% off their entire store! The sale ended yesterday but I expect more sales from them come September.
My Blue Door Boutique Review
Since I just finished shopping with Blue Door (literally 3 days ago) I wanted to give a quick low down. Long story short, I love them! My items shipped the same day I ordered and it arrived in just 2 days! I love fast shipping, especially since I’ve been waiting for this item to go on sale. I didn’t want to have to wait another week for it to ship! They also included some free earrings with my purchase which is just the cherry on top to this southern hospitality boutique.
Red Dress Boutique
This is a very popular online boutique among fashion bloggers. With a large inventory and variety of styles, the Red Dress Boutique has something for everyone to enjoy. Their sale selection is usually pretty large and is updated fairly frequently. Because this boutique is so popular, styles go out of stock quickly but depending on their popularity they’ll restock.
Hazel & Olive
Another recent boutique find of mine is Hazel & Olive. I found them on Instagram and can’t stop looking at their page ever since! Hazel & Olive is very good at releasing their newest items and promoting them well. Out of all the boutiques that I follow, Hazel and Olive were the first to release this adorable ric rac dress that’s been taking my gram by storm.
Favorite Online Boutique Brands
It should be noted that many online boutiques carry the same brands and styles as others. In this case I’d recommend looking at multiple online boutiques for the best prices as not all stores have the same mark up or may be running different sales. You should also know that not all boutiques list a brand of an item. This is a unique feature of boutiques as they can focus more on their own brand and not others brands while selling. Rest assured you’ll find out the brand from the clothing label once the item arrives. Here are a few of my favorite brands sold by boutiques.
English Factory, Save the Label, BB Dakota, THML, Judith March, and Buddy Love.
Buyer Beware
With the digital age, there are a lot of online scams out there. If an apparent “online boutique” seems to be copying name brands for much cheaper, this could be a red flag. Read item and store reviews before purchasing and please be careful of “free, just pay shipping” promotions on social media. A good way to check for real reviews is through that boutiques Instagram and Facebook accounts. If they don’t have one, that’s just one more red flag to catch.
