The Wrap

One of my wardrobe staples is the wrap. Wrap dress, wrap sweater, wrap skirt, they all build the most perfect outfits. Today I’m sharing this wrap skirt from J.Crew Factory. I really admire J.Crew for their dedication to affordable fashion through their Factory brand. While I love J.Crew and J.Crew Factory, I struggle with their sizes. I lack this thing called hips and a bust so their XXS and 00 don’t fit as well as their XXXS and 000 (and there are limited items in these sizes). I make due though (I sure love my safety pins)!

What I particularly love about wrap clothing is the ability to adjust it perfectly.  It was a particularly hot autumn day so I thought it perfect to take this wrap skirt out for a spin. (But really what autumn day in Florida isn’t particularly hot?) This outfit is much more suited elsewhere in the world in the summer months, and not fall. Especially with the light fabric, thin straps (on the top and the shoes) and the pastel colors. This top has become one of my particular favorites with its fun abstract pattern. I also imagine myself wearing it once it gets cooler but with a blazer and some trousers. We’ll see if that cold weather ever gets to us though. For now, enjoy my continued summery post!
