My sister gets confirmed tomorrow! As per confirmation tradition, many people will wear a white dress under their robes, so I’m sharing my top 10 white dresses for summertime. I know if you’re not super religious or if you’re not religious at all, you probably don’t care. And though I could try and convert you, (our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is in fact an awesome God) that’s not how I roll. Ultimately, that isn’t what this post is about. I throw in all those names for God to lighten the mood. This is a post that has to do with timeless fashion and a little throwback to my youngin’ years.
Little White Dress Back Story
Dare I post a picture of myself as a tiny teenager? As you can see, I wore the same dress then as I’m wearing in this post( p.s. I’m the one in the middle). Generally for confirmation wearing a white dress is the go to because you have on white robes. I’m excited (I think?) to say that the very same dress I wore for my confirmation back in 9th grade will also be the dress I wear to my sisters confirmation tomorrow! This is the other white dress I was debating with, but ultimately my confirmation dress won.
Do I really look that different? Can you hardly believe that I still fit into this dress? I’ll be honest, I was teeny teeny tiny back then so I feel like the dress actually fits me better now. (Somehow I have slightly more boob-age than back then). I remember falling for this dress on the Forever 21 site back when I was 13 (not 21) and had to have it. So I did. It was my 8th grade dance dress, my confirmation dress, my Easter dress. Name any occasion, I wore it. Still to this day I love this dress. To me, it hasn’t aged a bit. I feel very much like Marylin Monroe, and who can argue that she’s not classic?

Like I said, this post isn’t about confirmation but the top 10 white dresses for summer (particularly for the summer of 2019).
