Tropical Halloween Decor for Florida

While the weather might not change in Florida like it does everywhere else in fall, one things for sure, we still love spooky season! Just ask the various attractions in Orlando to find out just how into Halloween we are! Some things do very though. For instance, you’ll find many of the pumpkin patches indoors to keep them from rotting away in just a few days. Because it’s still in the upper 80s and low 90s this time of year, you can’t exactly carve your pumpkin, or even leave an un-carved pumpkin sitting around for more than a few days outside. (And even inside it starts to get questionable after a week). It is the sad reality of Halloween in Florida. But that doesn’t keep us from pulling out all the stops on the tropical Halloween decor we do get to put up.

Tropical Halloween Decorations

Do tropical decorations sound tacky to you? Like they should only be in your beach house rental on your vacation? Well…you’re not wrong. These tropical halloween decorations are very tacky and borderline comical. (Not borderline, they are comical). But unlike your beach house rental, Halloween decorations aren’t really supposed to be classy. (Though they can be. I had so much fun creating classy halloween decor last year). So while these tropical halloween items may be the slightest bit tacky, it’s done in such a fun way that I think all Floridians can appreciate. Especially those obsessed with pineapples and flamingos like me. (Ever carved a pineapple instead of a pumpkin? It’s pretty darn fun. You should give it a try).
